LeQuire Gallery Holiday Invitational

Inspiration for this group show comes from the philosophy of Olen Bryant, artist and Professor Emeritus of Art from 1963 to 1991 at Austin Peay University. Bryant rarely distinguished between “fine art” and “craft,” with his own work always teetering somewhere between. Deceased since 2017, we are thrilled to have some of Olen’s work for this exhibition as well as selections from several friends of the gallery who haven’t exhibited with us in quite some time, such as Donna Rizzo. We are also pleased to introduce several newcomers in partnership with The Clay Lady Campus; Fisk University and the Contemporary Collective painters.
