“Every Tree Has a Story. Each Piece is the Voice of the Tree” Wood Turnings”
by Brenda Stein
1 Day Only: Saturday, Dec 7th, 2019
Meet the artist 10am -3:00pm CST
A nice selection of turned bowls, sculptures, wine stoppers and writing pens, as well as a new series of miniature boxes.
The majority of Brenda Stein’s work is created from beautiful local hardwoods such as oak and spalted maple. Her new “Keeper” series of boxes, ie:‘Keeper of the Truth’, ‘Keeper of Wisdom’, etc., was inspired by and handmade from black walnut and black cherry of Nashville’s beloved Warner Park. “It is a collection of boxes, titled with my deepest wishes for the world, made from treasured wood I've stored in my shop for years”.
Each piece of Brenda Stein’s work is signed by the artist, ideal for both men and women, and the perfect way to say Tennessee.
*Ms. Stein is environmentally responsible using only repurposed materials.
