LeQuire Gallery maintains an important inventory of figurative work from many present day American painters and sculptors. The gallery supports the movement of contemporary artists who are extending the theories and techniques of the past to create new interpretations of the human form. A previous exhibit, As Artists See Us: The Contemporary Portrait, reinforced this point showcasing many unique portraits that invariably spoke to us whether we knew the subject or not. For more information about the exhibit, see Archives.
