Fortunately there are now many schools across the country teaching the fundamentals of drawing, painting and sculpture based on observation of the natural world and intent on improving technique. LeQuire Studio is part of this "Atelier Movement" having offered the "Open Studio" with Alan LeQuire for years.

Open Studio with Alan LeQuire

This relaxed studio session focuses on sculpting, but students are welcome to paint or draw. A model changes poses every third week. Alan will provide clay for those sculpting and even fire pieces for students free of charge. Those who choose to paint or draw should bring their own supplies.
